How I Built This

Guy Raz’s podcast How I Built This was launched in 2016 right as I was starting my MBA at Pitt’s Katz School of Business. I immediately became a fan and looked forward to my Monday morning commute where I would be able to listen to the latest episode. I was usually finishing each episode as I pulled into the garage across from Mervis Hall for my Monday evening class. While I already know the stories so well, the book brought together the themes from the interviews nicely and while I likely won’t be starting a business anytime soon, it certainly gave me ideas on how I can inspire my team to be more entrepreneurial in their work.
